As a P90X grad and Independent Team Beachbody Coach, I would not recommend doing any other work out while doing P90X.  Legs  Back covers squats quite well trust me.  If you would like to add anything, I would suggest additional cardio.  I know some people on my team add HIIT to their work outs on the days when they have strictly resistance training (ie, Chest and Back).
