Why after a year my thighs still hurt from doing squats?

I’ve been doing squats for over a year now. I’ve gotten great results. I exercise 4 times a week. It’s done wonders for my body. I feel great! BUT my thighs really do hurt most of the time. Just like they did when I first started. Why, after more than a year, do they still hurt?

    Could it be overtraining? Note that thighs reuquire stretching if you work on them a lot. Look up quad stretches and hip flexor stretches on Google.
