Lower back pain is very often simply a symptom of a hip problem.  The back pain may subside, but if the hips still aren&#039;t functionally sound the back pain will return when you return to lower body lifts like squats and deadlifts.

See if there is a physical therapy office in your area that will do a free consultation.  Some places offer that.  

Lower back pain brought on by squatting can sometimes mean your hips are out of allignment.  A physical therapist would be able to determine if that is the case and help adjust them back into place if so.</description>
