Fartlek running. Funny name, crazy results. Start out on a slow jog, nice and easy. Plan for like 4-6 miles. Then bring a watch, and at random times when you feel good, set it for like 4-5 minutes, and do a pick up. Run at about a 5:00-5:30 mile pace. Then slow back down to your original jog. You can do as many pickups as you can stand.

Actually there is no way to remove fat from a particular area by dieting. You can never determine where the fat will be removed from by trying to target that area, instead you will turn it to muscle.

A slow paced run near your maximum heart rate burns more calories than quick sprints which only are useful in building muscle.

Running slower at a constant speed
PLUS
'BREATHING' to exercising your rectus adbominus
would be the best way.

just like gaining weight you cant control where you gain it one thing that will help is if you add muscle there that burns some of the extra stuff so i would say do three sets of 15 sit ups a night before you go to bed and then run either or and that should help take the stomach fat away

it is always good to get rid of calories by running in the fat burn zone. to target the stomach though it is best to focus on the stomach muscles. through abs and such. swimming is also a really good way to burn all types of fat.

Interval training, but keeping your hear rate accelerated is the best. Jog at about 5 miles an hour or so for 5 minutes, and then sprint at about 8 mph for a minute and repeat through your workout.

I think as long as your heartrate is in the fat burning zone for at least 20 minutes, you'll be burning fat, no matter what you're doing. My understanding is that interval training helps build different kinds of muscles (and perhaps makes the workout less boring) - I don't think it affects the amount of fat you burn.

a more consistent run burns more calories because you can go for a longer time. Interval training is good for building endurance because it stretches the heart more, making it beat faster than a sustained, longer workout would.
