What are good alternatives to squats and lunges?

I hate doing squats and lunges for some reason and I want to know if there are any other great affective ways of shaping the thighs and butt?

Besides treadmill, bike, and elliptical since I already use them.

    try climbing up stairs or putting your treadmill on a really fast speed so it is like you are climbing a hill.

    step – its a great way of toning legs and bums – buy a step block and video and away you go

    Unfortunately there are not many other exercises that work those muscles. At least not any that are easy. You can try hack squats, or if you have access to a glute machine, or a leg press machine. But lunges are still a great exercise. Hope this helps.
