You should do it on days you aren’t doing interval training and at a moderate to low intensity. If you’re doing interval training properly it’s at a very high intensity, and your Central Nervous Systems (CNS) needs time to recover. You should only be doing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) about 3 times a week, non-consecutively. On the off days you can do cardio using an elliptical.
