You need to develop your cardiovascular system and intervals work on your lactic acid energy system, and doesn&#039;t do much for the aerobic system. 
It is safe to do but for general conditioning you should limit the days.</description>

		<description>YES! I love intervals, they helped me lose the majority of my 100+ lbs of weight.  I do my intervals on a stair stepper which is a bit different but it helps to keep your body from getting into a routine so that you don&#039;t hit a plateau and level off. On my stair stepper, I start off at level 5 for one minute, then level six, 7, 8, 9, and 10 and then back down to 5.  It&#039;s killer but it works.</description>
