		<description>Interval training doesn&#039;t necessarily require sprints.  If you&#039;re more of a beginner to fitness training, you could try some easier intervals to start off with.  For example:

Walk for 40 seconds, jog for 20 seconds.  Repeat 10 times, or for longer if required.

Doing this means that you are still interval training, but at your own level.  As you get fitter, you can increase the speeds, and cut down the walking time.
