Interval training: is anything I can do with it?

interval training
deen_tk87 asked:

I would like to perform interval training exercises to burn more fat in my body, but since I’m too overweight I’ can’t perform sprint or running for up to 1 minute. Is there any way I can do to ensure this training works?

I’m 104.6kg in weight and need some help to find this solution.

The word overweight means different things to different people. It’s a good idea to start at the beginning, and establish if you are in reality overweight for your size or not, by computing your BMI (Body Mass Index). You can understand how to do it at the website in the box below, they have loads of tips, I lost 8 pounds by following their tips.

Interval training doesn’t necessarily require sprints. If you’re more of a beginner to fitness training, you could try some easier intervals to start off with. For example:

Walk for 40 seconds, jog for 20 seconds. Repeat 10 times, or for longer if required.

Doing this means that you are still interval training, but at your own level. As you get fitter, you can increase the speeds, and cut down the walking time.

    Hope this helps.
