Has anyone seen major weight loss doing interval training?

I’ve been working out for years, changing up my routine here and there, 4-5, sometimes 7 days a week…and, while i’m in good shape and somewhat toned, i’ve never been able to lose weight with exercise…even watching calories doesn’t seem to work. So now i’m trying interval training (short, high intensity spurts, followed by periods of rest) and i’ve been doing it for two weeks…just hoping for some inspiration out there.
