Anyone have experience/knowledge of interval and strength training?

Hi, i am aiming to get a fit, lean body for my new years resolution. I am 5′4 and around 126lbs, i want to lose about 14lbs but more importantly want to lose fat and build muscle. Does anyone have any good interval training plans or advice on how to build arm and stomach muscles? Thanks.

    strength training is all about intensity. you need to do the heaviest weight you can for about 10 reps the first time then like 7 the second and by the third you should struggling to do like 5 or 6. if you were at the gym for like lets say 1 hr and worked hard in a high intensity program and ate properly then the fat would go by itself and muscle would come. But if you dont eat right your wasting your time.
